Madrid, May 29, 2025.- Tomorrow, Friday, May 30, at 8:00 PM, the Teatro Real will join the celebrations for the 225th anniversary of the Teatro Principal de Zaragoza with a concert at the Basilica del Pilar featuring the Orquesta Titular del Teatro Real, conducted by Pedro Halffter, along with the Coro Amici Musicae and the voices of soprano Ruth Iniesta, mezzo-soprano Lucía Caihuela, and tenor David Alegret. The musicians and soloists will perform works by Haydn and Mozart from the High Altar (see attached program) for an audience that will have 1,500 seats inside the Basilica, which will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis, and an additional 2,500 chairs available to follow the concert from the square on giant screens, all free of charge.
