ARBÓS FOUNDATION

NGO dedicated to OSM's
Social Projects

To channel these social actions and host new initiatives, the OSM has created the Arbós Foundation, a non-profit entity linked to the orchestra itself, which will be the perfect instrument to unleash our great vocation: transforming society through music.

Collaborate OSM-ARBÓS

The Madrid Symphony Orchestra has held, for over 120 years, the distinction of being the oldest symphonic ensemble in Spain. Since the dawn of its creation, this orchestra has always maintained the highest artistic quality in all its performances, and it is precisely this commitment to offering maximum excellence that has led us to build a series of educational and social projects that seek to energize and enrich the lives of citizens through music.

With Collaborate with OSM and the Arbós Foundation, we seek to take advantage of the current tax benefits established in the legal framework. By joining efforts, we will ensure that these projects achieve optimal development and gain an increasingly greater reach within our society.

To collaborate, you can make a deposit to Bank Account ES92 0182 2325 0402 0404 1085, indicating in the concept "Donation: name, surname, ID and province of the donor's address". If you have any questions, please write an email to comunicacion@osm.es, indicating your name and phone number and we will contact you shortly.

The mentioned tax benefits are as follows:

  • First €250 donated, each taxpayer -individual- benefits from an 80% tax deduction (subject to the tax benefits of Law 49/2002).
  • The amount exceeding €250 has a 40% deduction.
  • Recurring donations: If the donation is maintained to the same entity for an equal or higher amount for three years or more, the deduction can rise to 45% on the amount exceeding the first 250 euros.
  • In the case of legal entities (companies, social entities, etc.) the tax relief is 40% and, if there is commitment (three consecutive years), 50%, if the amount donated to the same entity in the third year is equal to or greater than that of the two immediately preceding years.

The Foundation commits to allocating at least 80% of all donations and other contributions (public aid, sponsorships, etc.) to the development of its projects, allocating the remaining percentage to general expenses of the entity.

The Arbós Foundation is a non-profit entity, created to carry out the social program of the Madrid Symphony Orchestra. It is a foundation, therefore, subject to the tax benefits of Law 49/2002.

The name Arbós was chosen in tribute to the celebrated violinist, composer and conductor of the late 19th and early 20th centuries. A Spanish musical figure of great relevance who, among other positions, was principal conductor of the OSM in its first decades (1904-1939), achieving great success. His social vision of music, offering opportunities to students and composers and renouncing remuneration higher than that of the OSM musicians themselves, serves as inspiration and reference for us to create an institution that has as its emblem the values of this admired and recognized musician.
